The scent of collard greens being cooked is very distinct but it does not correlate to their taste. When I cooked collard greens for the first time this weekend I found myself thinking “My kitchen smells like a southern soul food restaurant.” and I realized that I never knew what that smell was before.


The Benwood Wreck is an artificial reef off of the Florida Keys. The Benwood was sunk on April 9, 1942 after an unintentional collision with another boat, the Robert C. Tuttle.
