August 29th, 2010 will mark the Five Year Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s landfall in New Orleans. When I went to New Orleans to work on an editorial shoot in 2008 I was surprised at how the city looked like it had been hit by the storm months ago instead of years ago. This September I am showing photos from my trips to New Orleans at Periscope Cellars’s Gallery. The opening is on September 3rd from 6 to 9PM. Profits from the print sales will go to Habitat for Humanity and Make it Right; charitable organizations which are working to help New Orleans rebuild.
