In 1978 I left San Francisco for Mt Pleasant to help someone make wood fired pizzas (go figure) The pizza idea was less than sucessful but I remember many many pleasant looong afternoons on Shem Creek, eatin' shrumps and drinking beer - for me, the peak Southern experience! Beautiful photo - just as I hold it in my mind's eye. Wow!
