I drove around some back roads today looking for a location for an upcoming shoot. I didn’t find anything. I like to think about this quote from Harry Callahan on days like this, “I carried an 8×10 to the top of a mountain in Estes Park and never took a picture.”

I think about that quote kind of as a reminder not to let the process make the demands on what the outcome is.
