Monthly Archives: November 2008

These are some photos of the ocean. They were taken somewhere between London and New York, 500 miles south of Greenland and two and a half miles above the ocean floor.

Is under this coffee table. His bed keeps ending up there. I don’t know if it is intentional or if he just tolerates it after he accidently shifts it over.

This is a photo I took to illustrate an article by Cory Doctorow on the dangers of over surveillance. It’s a good argument for quality of information over quantity. I don’t think this image illustrates the same argument, but I like it. It’s glossy, shiny, and it has my girlfriend in it.

I bought these terrariums for Cein for Christmas last year. The first batch of plants that called them home didn’t do so well. I replanted these cute carnivorous plants because the winter nights aren’t going to do so well for them. Fingers crossed that they survive their new glass homes.

I recently got a letter from Timothy Archibald. I guess if you don’t read Archibald’s blog there wouldn’t seem to be anything special about this envelope, but since I read his blog, my first reaction upon seeing his son’s writing on the envelope was “magic“.
