When I was in Louisiana for work this week, I had an extra two days to explore New Orleans. The downtown financial district has been rebuilt, Bourbon St has it’s frat party experience back in swing but there are other spots like The Lower Ninth Ward and St. Bernard’s Parish that still look like the set from a zombie apocalypse movie. I was expecting it to still be bad but wasn’t expecting it to affect me as much as it did.
